eBird with Eric Soehren

The Alabama Tourism Department deemed 2023 as The Year of Alabama Birding. Learn how beginner and seasoned birders can use eBird to learn more about Alabama’s 425+ species of birds and how their use of the program helps researchers and conservationists. Eric Soehren is an ecologist and manager of the Wehle Land Conservation Center in Midway, Alabama. He is actively involved in several conservation organizations, including the Alabama Ornithological Society and the Inland Bird Banding Association.
