Disgusting Defenses
Saturday, March 20, 2:00pm
AMNH Auditorium
The natural world is fascinating, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t sometimes gross. Explore the incredible, yet disgusting, defense mechanisms found throughout the Animal Kingdom, such as nature’s own contribution to a movie character and a sea creature that literally spills its guts when threatened. While you’re here, be sure to check out our temporary exhibit, Bites, Pinches, Poisons, and Stings, to learn how other animals effectively protect themselves.
Disgusting Defenses is limited to 30 people and is first come, first served. Program is included in museum admission and free for members.
Anniston Museums and Gardens is following the State of Alabama’s Safer at Home ordinance. Masks are required for entry. Program seats are limited and social distancing is enforced between households. See program details to confirm if program requires pre-registration. Group tours are limited in size and must be pre-scheduled with the Education Director. For questions, contact 256-237-6766.
