Postponed: Heroes in History Story Hour: Abraham Lincoln
April 18 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pmIncluded in museum admission
Abraham Lincoln grew up in a very poor family in Kentucky. He said he went to school long enough to learn to read, write, and do simple math. He was called “Honest Abe” because he once ran several miles just to give a general store customer his change. Eventually Lincoln became our 16th President. He served as president from 1861 to 1865, during the American Civil War. Come learn more about our 16th President of the United States of America in this month’s Heroes in History Story Hour. Program includes story time, cookies, and hot chocolate. Heroes in History Story Hour is included with museum admission and free for AM&G members. Pre-registration is available at www.ExploreAMAG.org.
