Inside Out: Exploring Your World by Looking Inside the Incredible Organisms Around Us! Do You Hear What I Hear? Thursday, January 21 Registration Deadline: Thursday, January 14 3rd – 6th grade class 10:00am – 11:30am AMNH Auditorium Bats can move in complete darkness and have amazingly designed ears. Students will discover how bats use echolocation and their sense of hearing to “see”. They’ll also explore why bats use ultrasonic waves as opposed to other types of sound waves, why bats’ ears are designed the way they are and try to find objects on their own using only echolocation in a fun and challenging game. Limited spots are available. Adults who would like to participate in the class may register and pay the class fee for their own slot (if available). Admission to the exhibit halls is not included. Inside out is $8 for non-members and $5 for members; cost does not include exhibit hall admission. Pre-registration is required by calling 256-237-6766 or online via www.ExploreAMAG.org. Anniston Museums and Gardens is following the State of Alabama’s Safer at Home ordinance. Pre-registration is required for all programming and group tours. Masks are required for entry.
