Birding & Biscuits
The Audubon Society defines birding as “the act of appreciating and observing birds”. The Anniston Museums and Gardens and nearby Cheaha State Park are part of the Alabama Birding Trails, which highlights the best public locations to view our feathered friends around the state. Join Cheaha State Park Naturalist Kathryn Gray to learn bird ID basics, define the characteristics of some of our local birds, and how to use birding resources.
A light breakfast of biscuits, juice, and coffee will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring binoculars. Additional binoculars will be available to use during the program.
Cost is $8/person, and AM&G members receive a $3 discount. Pre-registration is encouraged.
