Memorial Day: Honoring Those Who Gave
Memorial Day is a day of remembrance set aside to honor the soldiers who gave their lives in military service to our country. After the publication of the World War I wartime poem, In Flanders Fields, the red poppy began to symbolize the blood shed during battle. Join us at the Berman Museum anytime between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm to make your own poppy to remember and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
This program is included in museum admission and is free for members.
