During the month of October, the Berman Museum closed for extensive renovations. Volunteer groups and individuals, interns, contracted workers, and AM&G staff worked tirelessly to create a new second floor experience, both visually and educationally. Three of the five permanent galleries temporarily opened for our annual Fall Fest and to host its first-ever Girl Scout Day, organized by Girl Scout Sarah Sloughfy! Thank you Sarah for planning a fun history-themed day and creating a Berman-specific patch for scouts to earn.
On Monday, November 1st, we close to complete the first floor renovations. Stay up-to-date with the renovation progress by joining the Anniston Museums and Gardens Members Facebook Group and follow us on all our social media accounts! These projects would not be possible without the support of the Small Business Association Shuttered Venue Operators Grant.
