Group Visits

Anniston Museums and Gardens resides on 125 acres just three miles from Downtown Anniston. We provide a safe, fun environment for people of all ages interested in learning about history and nature. Looking to bring a group to the Anniston Museums and Gardens? Schedule a group tour to make the most of your visit!

Groups of 10 or more paying visitors receive discounted rates when scheduled two weeks in advance. Groups are required to submit one form of payment to receive the group rate. To schedule a group of 10 or more, contact the Education Director.

Explore the exhibit halls of the Anniston Museum of Natural History and/or the Berman Museum at your group’s pace. Scavenger hunts are available and free to print to enhance your self-guided tour. Self-guided museum group tours are available Tuesday – Sunday.
Walk the Longleaf Botanical Gardens and Longleaf Nature Trail at your own leisure. This tour is available the second Thursday of the month at 9:00 am, 10:00 am, and 11:00 am.
Schedule self-guided tours two weeks in advance to receive the group rate. Self-guided tours are great for all ages!

Hear behind the scenes stories and learn collections details not highlighted on a self-guided tour. Guided tours are available Tuesday – Saturday 10:00 – 3:00pm. Plan for 1 ½ hours for your guided tour.

Take a wild walk with us throughout the Longleaf Botanical Gardens! Select three topics from below to explore further with a garden guide. Groups have the opportunity to visit the remaining Learning Hot Spots on their own.

Topics: Rare and Endangered Plants, Microclimate, Bamboo, Succulent and Cacti, Monarch Butterflies, Carnivorous Plants, Fallen Logs, Chimney Swifts

  • All-access cost: $25 per student/parent chaperone (three facilities)
  • Schedule guided tours three weeks in advance
  • Plan for one and a half hours per tour

This exclusive tour allows your group to tour the Collections Department at the Anniston Museum of Natural History or the Berman Museum and view artifacts not currently on display. Discovery tours include a self-guided tour of the museum(s).

  • Schedule discovery tours three weeks in advance

An educator will provide a 30-minute program that reinforces curriculum for each grade level. This tour is designed for Pre-K through 2nd grade and special needs students. Touch Trek Tours include a self-guided tour of the Anniston Museum of Natural History.
