
Exploring the Natural World: Homeschool Class Series – Thursdays
Each month, students explore their world by focusing on a different topic. Science is the primary focus with geography and history added when applicable. Artifacts, hands-on experiments, and activities are part of each class.
Two classes offered: Ages 6-8 and ages 9-12*
*The upper class (ages 9-12) activities requires upper elementary writing skills.
Fall Semester
– September 7, 2023 – What’s in a Name: Scientific Classification and Names
– October 5, 2023 – Bones and Skeletons
– November 2, 2023 – Birds and Nests
– December 7, 2023 – Weather Experiments
Spring Semester
– February 1, 2024 – Hearts
– March 7, 2024 – Earthquake Science and Geology
– April 4, 2024 – Butterflies and Moths
– May 2, 2024 – Experiments with Water
Pre-registration is required. Annual registration opens first, followed by semester registration, if space is available. Class fees are due at time of registration.

A minimum of 10 registered students required in order to host the class. Class size will not exceed 20 students.
