Museum Reminders:

  • Look UP, down, & ALL around inside the Anniston Museum of Natural History!
  • Ask about the history of the Berman Museum!
  • The Longleaf Botanical Gardens are free to explore.
  • No food or drinks permitted in the exhibit halls. Picnic tables are available first-come, first-serve throughout the gardens to enjoy food or drink.
  • Look for “hands-on” stickers throughout the exhibits. These are artifacts, hides, and activities that are safe to touch.
  • No “hands-on” sticker? Please do not touch. The oils on our hands cause damage to our collection artifacts and animals.
  • No smoking, vaping, or tobacco inside.
  • We encourage “walking feet” in the museum. Running can lead to trips or accidents. Walking through the exhibit halls keeps everyone and everything safe.
  •  Need a snack or drink? Visit the Museum Store for refreshments. Food and drink is permitted in the lobby, but not the exhibit halls.
  • The most important rule of all… HAVE FUN!
