
D:Day – Parachute STEM Challenge
On June 6, 1944, the Allied Forces launched the largest seaborne assault in history – codename D-Day – in what would become known as the beginning of the end of World War II. Allied paratroopers played a vital role in the success of the assault. This D-Day, join the Berman Museum to learn about the role of paratroopers and paradummies, named Oscar and Rupert, in the D-Day invasions and design and fabricate a model parachute to take home.
