Get ready to celebrate our slimy and scaly friends at Herpetology Festival 2026. Join us Saturday, June 6, from 10:00 am–3:00 pm at the Longleaf Event Center for a day of family-friendly fun. Enjoy crafts, face painting, live animals, interactive activities, and presentations.
Meet reptiles and amphibians up close, with live animal displays from the Jacksonville State University, Camp Lee, T&J Exotics, Noccalula Falls, Shell Puppies, and more. Grab lunch from onsite food vendors.
Perfect for all ages, this event is a fun way to learn about our often misunderstood friends.
Admission: $10 per person (ages 4+). Members $5. Kids 3 and under are free.
While you’re here, explore the Anniston Museums and Gardens, including the Anniston Museum of Natural History, the Berman Museum, and the Longleaf Botanical Gardens.
