HerpFest: Celebration of Reptiles and Amphibians
It’s time to celebrate and appreciate our slimy and scaly friends! Herp Fest 2024 is on Saturday, June 1st, from 10:00 am-3:00 pm at the Longleaf Event Center. Enjoy family-friendly crafts, face painting, reptile and amphibian-themed presentations, live animals, interactive activities, and a sensory slime swamp. Live animals will be on display, courtesy of the Alabama Herpetological Society, Jacksonville State University, Camp Lee, Cook Museum, T&J Exotics, Noccalula Falls, the Anniston Museum of Natural History, and more. Enjoy a delicious lunch or snack from one of our food vendors. This event is for people of all ages to learn about snakes, turtles, frogs, and more!
Cost is $10/person* ages 4 and up. Members receive a $5/person discount. Children 3 and under are free!
