Introduction to Nature Journaling

“Nature journaling is simply the practice of drawing or writing in response to nature. This fun,   relaxing practice helps you to connect more closely with nature, and results in the creation of your own unique nature journal. Both the practice and the end product are important…A journal can be anything you want it to be.” (www.naturejournalingweek.com)

The natural world opens up and reveals incredible details and wonders when you slow down and purposefully observe the world around us. Join our education team to learn about the art of nature journaling. This activity is for all ages, and you don’t have to be an artist to enjoy and appreciate it. Journals and journaling materials are provided.

“Stuff your eyes with wonder…live as if you’d drop dead in ten seconds. See the world. It’s more fantastic than any dream made or paid for in factories.” –Ray Bradbury
