Scout Day!

Gather your troop, family, and friends for an unforgettable day of outdoor fun and creativity. Scout Day is packed with engaging activities highlighting the spirit of exploration, achievement, and fun through local Girl Scout Sarah Sloughfy’s Gold Award project. All levels of Girl Scouts will complete the steps needed to earn the Nature Try-It Badge. (Badge not included.)

 

10:00 am – 10:30 am              Girl Scout Gold Award Project Presentation

10:30 am – 12:30 pm              Outdoor Activities

*Pattern Art – Unleash your creativity by crafting unique nature-inspired designs to take home

*Nature Notebook Creation – Learn to document the wonders of the wild with your very own personalized nature journal

*Guided Trail Hike – Explore the beauty of the great outdoors and     reconnect with nature through interactive “Look and Learn” prompts. Perfect for scouts of all ages!

12:30 pm – 1:00 pm                Bring Your Own Picnic Lunch

1:00 pm – 1:30 pm                  S’mores at the Learning Lodge Fire Pit

1:30 pm – 2:00 pm                  Tour of previous BSA and GSA Award Projects

Guests (ages 4 and up)                                   $15/person

Scouts (BSA and GSA) in uniform or vest    $12/person

Troop leaders                                                  $12/person
